Pancakes 2008

Pancake Party 2008
The Pancake Party is the biggest family event of the year in the Parish and this year it was bigger and better than ever. We had 75+ kids attending and between them and the 50+ adults who were there we managed to work our way through over 400 pancakes.
The evening was split into three different time slots:
- First we had action stations featuring face painting, PS2 games, cake decorating and different craft stations.
- Then we had the team game challenge where four teams battled it out in the Pancake Toss, Water Carry, Rubber Ball Bounce, Easter Egg Hunt and Dried Pea Straw disciplines.
- And finally we ended with the ever popular bouncy castle.
A big thank you to all involved, a sterling effort from everyone. Same time next year?
And here’s a few photos of the evening to enjoy:
The cooks working hard to satisfy the many hungry mouths
Gilly getting ready to start at the face painting station
Mary manning one of the craft stations
The highlight of the evening - the bouncy castle. Although Shan isn’t too impressed
